As in previous years, our handy events calendar 2013 contains
a rich and varied program including many open-air festivals and
events taking place, for example, at our Gartenschau, the Zoo or
downtown in addition to a diverse range of cultural activities at
our event venues such as the Pfalztheater, the Fruchthalle or the Kammgarn. Traditional cultural highlights such as the Altstadtfest (our festival in the old part of the city), Swinging Lautern or the Volkpark Concerts are hugely popular and feature strongly in our program. Due to their popularity all of them are indispensable.
